April 2019

For three days in April we’ll enjoy the very best of early America as well as some of today’s most renown area restaurants.

Along the way, we’ll enjoy lunch in Richmond before stopping for a leisurely wine tasting and tour on our way to Williamsburg. While in Williamsburg, we’ll stay at the historic Griffin House and enjoy dinner at Trellis and Shield’s Tavern.

The weekend will also include a walking ghost tour of the historic city as well as a tour and tasting of 8 Shires Colonial Distillery. We’ll be sure to leave plenty of time for you to explore Williamsburg (includes ticket to all historic buildings) including Saturday morning’s famous farmer’s market in Merchant Square and surrounding modern shops.

The weekend concludes with a stop on Sunday afternoon at Merrior - home of the Rappahannock Oyster Company for a tour followed by an alfresco lunch served along the waterfront.
