No Thyme to Cook Hosts Next Sip & Shop on September 29, 2024

Local Artisans Participate in the Fall Fair, which also offers a Mini Cooking Class and Book Signing

Solomons, MD, September 5, 2024: No Thyme to Cook (NTTC) proudly announces its next artisan fair, Sip & Shop, on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 11 am to 5 pm. Almost two dozen local craftsmen and growers will display their wares during this six-hour event. NTTC’s bar will offer drinks for purchase plus Wildewood BBQ Company will offer a delicious menu selection. A mini-cooking class, Thyme for a Taste, $20, will take place on the second floor and teach how to make Apple Pie. Joyce M. White, food historian, also will talk about her new book, COOKING MARYLAND’S WAY, and do a signing. There is never a charge for admittance to the fair.

“After a wonderful summer of monthly craft fairs, we’re kicking off the fall season of Sip & Shop on September 29th,” announces Chef Gwyn Novak, CEO and President of NTTC. “In addition to a wide selection of handmade items including jewelry, creative décor, and glass creations, my friend and food historian, Joyce White will talk about her new book, COOKING MARYLAND’S WAY.” An afternoon signing of the book will be held. Events Manager Donna House adds, “a mini-cooking class called Thyme for a Taste, will teach attendees how to make the All-American Apple Pie!” The class is only $20, and reservations via the website are suggested.

The food truck Wildewood BBQ Company will offer authentic southern Maryland BBQ items. Wines, beers, and a wide array of other beverages, including sodas and water, will be available at the NTTC bar. A mini-cooking class, Thyme for a Taste, $20, will teach guests how to make an apple pie as well as give an introduction into the classes offered at NTTC, and will be held inside on the second floor. In addition, the author Joyce White will discuss her new book, COOKING MARYLAND’S WAY, and sign copies. The event itself will be held in NTTC’s parking lot. Public restrooms are available inside NTTC. The event takes place rain or shine.
