Sweet Citrus Cornbread

Sweet Citrus Cornbread

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup all purpose flour

  • 1 Cup yellow cornmeal

  • ⅔ Cup white sugar

  • 3 ½ tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 Cup whole milk

  • ⅓ Cup vegetable oil

  • 1 Large Egg 

  • 2 Oranges (zest)

  • 2 Tbs honey

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease baking pan of desired size and shape

  • In a large bowl, mix together dry ingredients, and in another mix the wet

  • Slowly whisk the mixtures together till incorporated

  • Pour batter into greased pan and bake for roughly 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean (may depend on size of pan)

  • Allow to cook before removing from pan and serving
