Easter in an Hour: 3 Simple Tips
Want to enjoy a stress-free but delicious Easter dinner this year in no time? Try the following tips. They'll have you out of the kitchen and with your friends and family in no time.
This doesn't need to be a smorgasbord! Serve baked ham, roasted lamb, or fried chicken (from your favorite local spot if you like!) as the main dish with just two sides - potatoes (see our other great recipes on the Seasonal Recipes tab) and a green veggie. If your guests want more, suggest they bring it. The same goes for appetizers, dessert, wine, and bread. Ask each guest to bring something for the meal. There's no shame in this! People like to feel as if they're contributing.
Keep it simple with silverware, plates and glasses. You don't need separate ones for each course (except dessert!).
Prep as much as you can ahead and clean up the kitchen as you go. You'll be glad you did later in the evening!
