Sip and Shop and learn at No Thyme to Cook

June 23rd Artisan Fair to Feature an optional Cooking Class

Solomons, MD, June 6, 2024: No Thyme to Cook (NTTC) presents June’s artisan fair, Sip & Shop, on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 11 am to 5 pm. Twenty-two local craftsmen and producers will display their wares during this six-hour event. NTTC’s bar will sell beverages to sip while you shop, plus Taste of the Tides food truck will offer a delicious seafood menu selection. For the first time, a mini-cooking class, Thyme for a Taste, also will be offered. There is never a charge for admittance.

“This month, we’re excited to add a quick cooking class to Sip & Shop, called Thyme for a Taste,” says Chef Gwyn Novak, CEO and President of NTTC. “For only $20 and under sixty minutes, guests will be able to learn how to make one dish in the second floor kitchen overseeing the craft fair happening below.” This month’s featured dish is a crabcake. Donna House, Events Manager at NTTC adds, “I’m excited to hear guests making a point to return month after month, ending up with new gifts as well as friends. The addition of a cooking class only will serve to elevate their experience.” Thyme for a Taste will be offered in two sessions, either 11:30 am or 1:00 pm; pre-purchasing your ticket to the class guarantees your spot.
