No Thyme to Cook Welcomes Junior Chefs to its Summer Kids Camps
Two Sessions, one focusing baking while the other on cooking, to be held in June and July
Solomons, MD, April 24, 2024: Junior Chefs rejoice! No Thyme to Cook (NTTC) is hosting two separate, three-day Kids Camps in June and July. The Camp running June 26, 27, and 28 will focus on baking www.simpletix.com/e/kids-camp-bake-shop-boot-camp-tickets-162747, while the Camp spanning July 17 through 19 will specialize in cooking cuisines from around the world, www.simpletix.com/e/kids-around-the-world-in-3-days-tickets-162648. Both camps run each day from 9:30 am through 12:30 pm, and feature plenty of goodies to be taken home. The camps cost $250 per three-day session, and are geared toward children ages eight to twelve.
“Junior chefs fill our kitchen with so much energy,” notes Chef Gwyn Novak, CEO and President of NTTC. “We’re excited to introduce—or refine kitchen skills already developed—cooking and baking to the next generation of chefs.” Chef Muriel, one of the two chef instructors for the Kids Camps adds, “I love working with children in the kitchen. Guiding them reminds me of why I became a chef in the first place!”
The June session, called Bake Shop Boot Camp, will give little hands an introduction to sweet and savory items such as focaccia, biscuits, cupcakes, cookies, brownies and more. Kids Around the World, the title of the July session, will serve up insights into cuisines from Italy, India, and Asia. Both sessions allow for the Junior Chefs to dive in and make the items from scratch, under the watchful eye of trained chefs. It promises to be an unforgettable experience that could shape young futures for years to come.
