Pumpkin Bread

I make this the day/night before. It’s great in the morning before/while you’re cooking or after dinner with coffee and dessert. Chef Lauren

Wet ingredients:

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 cup veg oil

  • 3 cups of sugar

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

 

Dry ingredients:

  • 3 ½ cups AP flour

  • 1 tbsp. baking powder

  • 2 tsp. salt

  • ½ tsp. ground cloves

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1 tsp. nutmeg

  • 1 tsp. all spice

 

1.     Mix all the wet ingredients together in a large bowl and set aside.

2.     Sift the dry ingredients together in another bowl.

3.     Combine the dry into the wet and add 2/3 cup of water.

4.     Mix well.

5.     Grease 2 loaf pans well with butter and dust with flour.

6.     Bake at 350 for about an hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
