Creamy Blueberry Banana Smoothie

Serves 2 / Prep Time: 5 minutes / Cook Time: 2 minutes

Smoothies are the perfect breakfast – everything you need in one glass. If you’re in a hurry, you can’t beat a smoothie to get your day started.

Tools:

Dry measuring cups

Liquid measuring cup

Measuring spoons

Blender

Rubber spatula

 

Ingredients to Have:

1 ripe banana, cut into 2-inch pieces

½ C. blueberries

1 cup yogurt (can be plain, vanilla, or flavored)

¼ C. of milk or juice of your choice

1 tablespoon honey

1 ½ C. ice

1.    Put everything in a blender and blend on high speed until smooth.

2.    If the smoothie is not mixing, add more liquid. If it’s too thin, add more ice.

Swap It: We used blueberries and bananas, but you can use any fruit you like or is season. And if you have bananas that are too ripe to eat, don’t throw them away – freeze them and use those in your smoothie. You can then use less ice.
