ONLINE Wine Down Wednesday: Memorial Day Wine Pairing

Let's kick off summer by adding some new wines to your repertoire! Join Chef Gwyn and wine expert Carolyn Hart as they bring their food & wine pairings into your home. Your registration includes a flight of five wines (tasting portion) with the food pairings. You can pick up your pairing box Tuesday, May 19 from 1-3 pm or Wednesday, May 20 from 11 am - 1 pm at No Thyme to Cook.

Sauvignon Blanc – Governor’s Bay

Melon, passionfruit & gooseberry

Paired with: Roasted Asparagus, Feta & Lemon Orzo Salad

Chardonnay – Buttercream

Creamy texture with tropical fruit & vanilla

Paired with: Grilled Shrimp Caesar Salad

 

Rosé- Robles

Classic French rosé as strawberry & watermelon lead followed by hints of cherry. Crisp and refreshing but not lacking in depth. One of Forbes top 25 wines

Paired with: Mini Charcuterie Board

 

Pinot Noir – Vennston

Bright berry flavors with hints of vanilla

Paired with: Mushroom & Savory Tartlette

 

Zinfandel Blend – Chronic Cellars Purple Paradise

Paired with: Grilled Beef Tenderloin Crostini with Blue Cheese Sauce
