Travel with us from northern to southern Italy to experience the remarkably different cuisines and cultures as we prepare bold, flavorful meats, vegetables, pastas and desserts. Bagna càuda served with warm, crusted bread and fresh garden vegetables
Bagna càuda, is a hot dish made from garlic and anchovies, originating in Piedmont, Italy during the 16th century. The dish is served and consumed in a manner similar to fondue, sometimes as an appetizer, with raw or cooked vegetables typically used to dip into it.
Risotto alla milanese with grilled shrimp and asparagus
Milanese risotto (meaning yellow rice) is the most typical and well-known dish of Milan. It is a risotto whose main ingredients, in addition to those needed to prepare a white risotto, are saffron , from which it derives its characteristic yellow color.
Zabaglione (light custard) topped with fresh fruit
A frothy dessert or sauce made of eggs, sugar, and wine, typically Marsala, beaten together over boiling water.

What to Expect:
Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above
You will work with other students in groups
Hands-on classes are limited to 16 students
You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
