Cast Iron Cornbread
Ingredients:
1 C. butter
1 C. sugar
4 eggs
2 C. buttermilk
2 ¾ C. AP flour
1 ¼ C. corn meal
1 ½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350℉
Grease 10” Cast Iron Skillet
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar. add the eggs salt and mix until combined. Stir in buttermilk.
In a separate Bowl combine all dry ingredients.
Combine dry and wet ingredients and mix well.
Pour into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25 minutes. Enjoy!
