Brown Butter Glazed Carrots
These are one of my all-time favorite holiday recipes. My mommom made them every year and thankfully my aunt continues the tradition. Best of all, they’re super simple. The secret is to boil the carrots in sugar water so they’re extra sweet! Enjoy!
2 lb. carrots, peeled and sliced into rounds
¼ C. sugar
1 stick butter
Salt & pepper
Boil the carrots in a pot of water with the sugar – cook until fork tender.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan. Let it cook until it just begins to turn brown.
Drain the cooked carrots. Pour the brown butter over top and season with salt and pepper.
Serves 8
