Southern Maryland has a wealth of amazing local growers of everything from produce and meats to beer and wine, honey, and flowers – and so much more. Each month we want to showcase one of these folks. And this month we’re excited to introduce Port of Leonardtown Winery. A coop of growers, Port of Leonardtown currently has 12 cooperative vineyards from St Mary's, Calvert, Charles, and Kent counties. Their award-winning wines are produced using only grapes grown in Southern Maryland. Winemaker Lauren Zimmerman joins us for a tasting and food pairing.
