  • Part-Time Positions Currently Open.

    Our experienced team of Chef Instructors fulfill our mission as a teaching kitchen through in-depth hands-on instruction in an encouraging environment.

    Shifts average 4 hours per class. Classes typically run on weeknights and on weekends. Weekend shifts available mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

    Responsibilities:

    Grocery list, preparation and execution of all classes and events you lead.

    Ensuring any allergies made known area accounted for in your selected menu.

    Deliver consistent and thorough culinary instruction in a wide range of techniques.

    Focus on a high level of instruction relating to the ingredients, regional styles, and traditions relative to the given cuisine.

    Provide clear and professional direction to the Cooking Class Assistant prior to and during the class. Achieve the outlined learning objectives conducted with the time allotted while ensuring appropriate levels of safety.

    Create a welcoming and encouraging environment, adjusting instruction to meet the skill level and needs of the students.

    Adhere to the standards and regulations of a professional kitchen.

    Qualifications:

    Culinary degree or commensurate culinary education experience is mandatory.

    ServSafe Certified

    Proficient in a wide range of culinary techniques and ethnic cuisines.

    Excellent communication skills.

    Previous teaching experience is preferred.

    Culinary Experience Level: 1 - 2 years

  • Part-Time Positions Currently Open.

    Our experienced team of Sous Chef fulfill our mission as a teaching kitchen through supporting our Chef Instructors with in-depth hands-on instruction in an encouraging environment.

    Weekend shifts available mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

    Responsibilities Include:

    Setting up equipment and ingredients. Preparing the kitchen for the class.

    Assisting the Chef Instructor before and during the class.

    High attention to detail.

    Ability to anticipate and identify the needs of the Chef.

    Ability to take instruction and action.

    Willingness to learn systems and to interact with clients and staff in a friendly and cooperative manner.

    Previous experience in customer service and in the food and/or hospitality field is preferred.

    Deliver consistent and thorough culinary abilities in a wide range of techniques.

    Adhere to the standards and regulations of a professional kitchen.

    Qualifications:

    Culinary degree or commensurate culinary education experience is mandatory.

    ServSafe Certified

    Proficient in a wide range of culinary techniques and ethnic cuisines.

    Excellent communication skills.

    Previous culinary experience is preferred.

  • Part-Time Positions Currently Closed.

    Our dynamic team of Cooking Class Kitchen Assistants provides essential support to the Chef Instructors before during and after the classes run. This is a non-supervisory position.

    Shifts average 6 hours per class. Classes typically run on weeknights and on weekends. Weekend shifts available mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

    Responsibilities Include:

    Setting up equipment and ingredients. Preparing the kitchen for the class.

    Helping with class flow and assisting the Chef Instructor during the class.

    Post-class clean up. Washing all the dishes, pots, pans, and equipment used in the cooking classes.

    Maintaining cleanliness and organization of dish station.

    Restocking washed dishes back onto shelves.

    Assisting class staff with post-class clean up.

    To Qualify:

    Strong customer service skills.

    High attention to detail.

    Ability to anticipate and identify the needs of the Chef.

    Ability to take instruction.

    Willingness to learn systems and to interact with clients and staff in a friendly and cooperative manner.

    Previous experience in customer service and in the food and/or hospitality field is preferred.

  • Part-Time Positions Currently Open

    Our dynamic team of bartenders provides essential support to events and classes by providing a pleasant drinking experience to our guests.

    This is a non-supervisory position.

    Shifts average 4-6 hours per class. Classes typically run on weeknights and on weekends. Weekend shifts available mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

    Responsibilities Include:

    >Verifying age requirements upon checking guests in.

    >Setting up equipment and ingredients.

    >Processing payments, managing inventory, and cleaning bar supplies.

    >Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings.

    >Helping with class flow by ensuring smooth operation of bar services.

    >Adhering to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.

    >Maintaining cleanliness and organization of dish station.

    To Qualify:

    >Strong customer service skills and demonstrate knowledge of and skill in ability to safely and effectively operate standard beverage service equipment.

    >High attention to detail, planning, problem solving, and team work.

    >Ability to take instruction and participate in and/or contribute to project designs to improve quality of service and employee productivity.

    >Willingness to learn systems and to interact with clients and staff in a friendly and cooperative manner.

    >Previous experience, at minimum, of two (2) years with bar or restaurant experience, to include drink preparation.
